The Challenge

Topanga Beauty Center is a medical aesthetics practice in the San Fernando Valley, with offices in Canoga Park and Sherman Oaks. Its board-certified practitioners offer injectables, skin and laser treatments, regenerative therapies and wellness services, including XERF™ radiofrequency skin tightening.

The old topangabeauty.com ran on WordPress with a page builder. The content was there, but the experience didn’t match the level of care the practice offers. The redesign came with firm constraints. Every page had to keep its exact URL so search rankings carried over, and the practice’s own words had to stay as they were. Our job was to restyle the site, not rewrite it.

Our Approach

We rebuilt the site as a static Astro site with a calm, editorial design. It uses a cream ground, serif headlines and the practice’s own teal and bronze, adjusted where needed so text stays readable. We scraped every page of the live site into structured data, then added build gates that fail if any of the 49 original URLs goes missing or any heading, paragraph or table cell changes. Images keep their original WordPress paths too.

The homepage got the richest treatment. It has a breathing-lotus moment, a treatment finder, before-and-after results, a testimonials carousel, an office picker and a step-by-step booking flow. Each treatment has its own page, and XERF™ got a dedicated page of its own. We cleaned and split the before-and-after composites so each one reads as a single clear picture. A cart and Stripe checkout let patients buy treatment packages without leaving the site.

We also made the practice easier for AI assistants to find. The site serves a markdown version of each page when an agent asks for one, and announces its llms.txt and sitemap from the homepage. We left out machine endpoints that no real service backs.

The Result

The new site is live at topangabeauty.com, replacing the WordPress site on the same addresses, so every existing page link keeps working.
